 Cruzin' for Life's mission is to raise funds for patient support through the Marian Cancer Care Center and the local chapter of the American Cancer Society. Our contribution to the local ACS supports Camp Reach for the Stars for SB County children cancer survivors and their families plus the Young Cancer Survivor's Scholarship Fund for local cancer survivor college students.
Once again, our wonderful community came together for the Cruzin' for Life event. Thanks to ALL of you; your generosity and support raised an unbelievable $193,000 this year! It’s our best year ever and put us over the half million dollar mark for total donations.
We want to thank all our sponsors, auction donors, cruisers, dinner attendees, auction participants, and committee chairs. Last but not least we want to thank our 200+ volunteers that enthusiastically stepped in to make our event so successful! We cannot put on this event without our volunteers. Everyone’s time is 100% donated and we are very proud to say that Cruzin' for Life does not have any payroll expenses.

The 8th Annual Cruzin’ For Life event was held September 23rd & 24th. Cruzin’ for Life remains committed to raising funds that stay local. Our donations benefit the Marian Cancer Care Center (soon to be the new Mission Hope Cancer Center) and the local chapter of the American Cancer Society funding Young Cancer Survivor Scholarships in California and Camp Reach for the Stars, hosted in Cambria (summer camp for local children with cancer and their families).
